Introduction

Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIIM C) is one of the most reputed business schools in India and its PGPEX programme is aimed at working professional who want to move to mid level managerial positions. This is a new programme and has a small batch size but given IIM's brand name and placement record it is bound to become popular in the coming years.

Programme fee

Program Fees (includes tuition, books/course material, library, network, accommodation & food) : INR 14 lacs approx.

Eligibility

IIMC PGPEX has the following eligibility criteria:

• Graduate degree (minimum 3 years duration) in any discipline (or equivalent qualification)
• Minimum 5 years of full time post-qualification professional experience
• A valid GMAT score (taken within the last 36 months at the time of application)

Application & selection Process

Interested candidates can download the application form from IIMC website

Selection is based on Academic Background, Professional Experience, GMAT score, Personal Interview, Statement of Purpose and recommendation letters from two referees who hold senior academic or managerial positions

Statement of Purpose: Why you want to join the programme and what benefit you foresee on completion of the course

IIMC PGPEX Essay 1: Give detailed descriptions of three activities you performed in your workplace in the last five years which will help us assess your abilities and strengths. Use extra sheets if necessary.

IIMC PGPEX Essay 2: Narrate an important/unusual incident of your life when you had to face a very demanding/challenging situation. How did you overcome the situation? What lessons did you learn from this incident? Use extra sheets if necessary.

IIMC PGPEX Essay 3: (Only for re-applicants) What are the changes in your profile vis-à-vis previous year's?
